I needed to board my 2 dogs for one night, and Lucky D. accommodated my request at the last minute.

My furry friends were given a huge (1/3 acre) grassy/fenced in yard to themselves, with a "cabin" in the center.  Beds were trampoline off-the-floor style.  Price was very reasonable.  Lucky D rearranged their schedule to help me fit into mine!  Perfect experience.

My dogs basically grew up here.  It's a slice of heaven.  The animals get 2 stay at a serene setting, situated at a higher elevation. Thus making it even more comfortable on those hot, Kona days.  I like the fact that the dogs have large areas to exercise in.  One area is an actual arena with all green grass & shelter for sun protection, or a possible pop up rain shower.  There are also V.I.P. Rooms & play areas for the animals.  The cats can have a V.I.P. room as well.  They are set up 2 mock a living room or bedroom, 2 make the pets feel at home.  There's even a custom built kitty staircase so the cats can climb up higher & watch the birds & horses outside the window.  It's definitely a friendly atmosphere with the Aloha spirit.(Not a corporate feeling). And the owner will accommodate most requests.  Even heating up the dogs food in the microwave.  I also love that Lucky D is a big supporter of the Hawaii Island Humane Society.  My dogs never wanted to leave the ranch & yours probably won't either.
